Since 2004, Herminius has been the principal advisors to the Lloyd’s Market Association’s Joint War risks Committee (JWC). We provide regular briefings to the JWC to inform their understanding of physical, war, political, and expropriation risk worldwide and help the JWC anticipate emerging political and physical threats. For example, the JWC leveraged our advice in 2022 when they listed the Black Sea before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. 

Since that seismic event, a far broader range of clients across multiple sectors, from commodities to pharmaceuticals and financial services to natural resources has leant heavily on Herminius’s expertise and access – to navigate major issues such as energy flows and pricing, tariffs negotiations, and regulatory developments in an increasingly complex world where geopolitical developments have a major impact on businesses and trade flows.
