We are looking for:

Critical thinkers:

We make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information, test assumptions and hypotheses, and then form clear judgements about people, politics and businesses. Thoughtful analysis, close attention to detail and intellectual rigour are fundamental to our work.

Enthusiastic learners:

Our people have a natural curiosity for the world around them and are demonstrably interested in and excited by global affairs, politics, personalities, and business. We love our work and are keen to learn about new industries and ideas.

Engaging interlocutors:

Building long-term relationships with our clients and the members of our global network requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a genuine interest in helping others succeed, high integrity, and the ability both to speak and listen well.

Excellent writers:

We deliver our insights in crisp, clear, accurate writing that answers our clients’ questions in a way that is easy for them to understand. Often this will mean summarising complex and sometimes ambiguous content in succinct, unambiguous terms on tight deadlines.

Committed team players:

We are a single team of hard-working colleagues who are passionate about our work, support each other, and are resilient and robust. We share advice and knowledge, admit our faults, and are genuinely pleased when others do well.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and pension;
  • Discretionary performance-related bonus;
  • Private medical and life insurance;
  • Flexible working arrangements;
  • Generous holiday allowance;
  • Ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities.

Diversity and inclusion:

We value difference and encourage applications from all backgrounds, regardless of race, sex, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or age.

We aim to create an environment where everyone feels they belong. We support working families and offer flexible working where possible.

If you require adjustments at any stage of the application or interview process, please let us know.

Application Process:

Interested candidates should send a CV and covering letter to recruitment@herminius.com. Applications will close on 8 May 2026. We will shortlist and contact applicants to take forward in the process, and we apologise that we will not be able to provide feedback to unsuccessful applicants.

The next stage of the selection process will be an in-person assessment centre, scheduled to take place between 18–29 May. Please ensure that you are available and based in the UK during this period, as attendance is required to progress in the recruitment process.
